How it Works

John assesses executive teams through both qualitative and quantitative measures. First he takes the time to carefully interview each member of the team to understand where their collective strengths and limitations lie today, as well as to clearly articulate the aspirations that the team has for the future. This provides powerful qualitative data about the team’s dynamics, overall leadership health, and current course and direction.

As a Certified Practitioner of the Leadership Circle assessment instruments, John also utilizes the Leadership Circle Culture Survey to gather quantitative date about the team. The Leadership Culture Survey provides a powerful “MRI” of your leadership culture. Used for your entire organization – or just a leadership team – the Leadership Culture Survey tells you how your people view their current leadership culture, and compares that reality to the optimal culture they desire. The gap between the current culture and desired culture instantly reveals key opportunities for leadership development. The Leadership Culture Survey also measures how your leadership culture compares to that of other organizations.

With both qualitative and quantitative data in hand, John works with you to co-create the future state you and your executive team desire – as well as the path to get there. This is when the important work truly begins. Through a customizable combination of facilitated workshops, fieldwork, and personalized coaching over a twelve-month period, John works shoulder-to-shoulder with you and your team to design the transformation necessary – at the individual and team levels – to create a set of operating and behavioral principles, as well as a definition of organizational culture which is aligned with your business objectives and congruent with the team’s values.
